Pink Elephants is a Thunderkick slot with six reels and 4,096 winning ways. Its bonus has two forms of progression: Scatters can award more free spins, while completed symbol meters change symbols and add a spin. These effects change the remaining spin count and the symbols used in later bonus results.

How a winning way is counted
The original rules evaluate the listed combinations from left to right, beginning at the leftmost reel. Eligible positions can contribute to different ways. For each way, only the highest qualifying win is paid; the qualifying ways are then added. A Wild substitutes for paying symbols, but it does not replace a Scatter.
For a counting example, suppose a paytable allows a three-reel A combination. There are 2 eligible A positions on reel one, 1 on reel two and 3 on reel three. That creates 2 × 1 × 3 = 6 possible three-reel paths. The arithmetic counts paths only: it does not supply an A-symbol payout or the chance of landing that layout.
This is why 4,096 describes the game’s available way structure, rather than 4,096 wins on every spin. A result still needs the required symbol, reel sequence and paytable condition. Counting the board’s positions cannot replace evaluating its actual symbols.
First entry, retriggers and symbol meters
| Event | Documented condition or effect |
|---|---|
| First bonus entry | 3 or more Scatters |
| Mystery Scatter in the main game | Can introduce 1–5 Mystery Scatters |
| A symbol meter fills | Its symbol becomes an Elephant for the remaining bonus; adds 1 free spin |
| A retrigger during the bonus | 2 or more Scatters; award depends on the Scatter count |
| Bonus stake | The stake from the triggering round is retained |
The thresholds describe different situations. Two Scatters in the main game do not satisfy the documented first-entry condition. Two Scatters during an active bonus can satisfy its retrigger condition. Those statements fit together because the game is checking a different stage.
A full meter has two separate effects
During the bonus, collecting Elephant Orbs fills the symbol meters. When a meter fills, its associated symbol becomes an Elephant for the rest of that bonus, and one extra free spin is credited. The transformation changes later bonus layouts; the extra spin increases the remaining spin count. Neither effect is itself a cash payout.
For example, imagine a meter completes when there are still several bonus spins to resolve. The new symbol state can matter on later results, while the extra spin increases the number of remaining opportunities. Whether any later arrangement pays is still decided by its symbols and the paytable. A completed meter does not set a minimum bonus return.
RTP and the similarly named sequel
The manufacturer lists 96.1% RTP for this original title. RTP describes a theoretical long-run return, not the probability that one spin wins. It also does not promise that a particular session will return 96.1% of its wagers. These are published references, rather than verification of a game build running on ETGAMEPLAY.
Pink Elephants 2 – Reborn has its own product page, RTP reference and Feature Buy description. A similar name or screenshot is not enough to transfer those details to the original. This profile follows the original rules document and keeps the sequel separate.
The cited rules do not reproduce every symbol award or the full free-spin award table. Those values are therefore not presented as a complete paytable here. For developer context, the studio directory separates the game’s creator from other studios.
